Originally from Nebraska, my wife and I moved to Humble, Texas in the summer of 2003 so she could pursue her teaching career. In 2008 I received my Bachelors degree in graphic communications from the University of Houston. After graduation I began working for Anusara Yoga, one of the largest and most respected yoga communities in the world. As a designer at Anusara I quickly adapted to being a jack of all trades, taking on everything from print, to web, and even video and motion projects. In my free time I love the opportunity to branch out and work on projects that I might not otherwise work on as an in house designer…if you have a project, feel free to contact me, I would love to discuss it with you further.

I believe in being an environmentally and socially responsible designer. I love to investigate and learn new things, as well as explore new mediums of design. I am a thorough researcher with a passion for finding new connections. I am drawn to minimal designs, but would never truly classify myself as just one thing.  I enjoy digging deeper and looking into the past, finding obscurities that can be revitalized and turned into something new. As an astute observer, I draw inspiration from everything around me. I truly love what I do.

I do have a life beyond all the sketching, researching, and working. I am an avid sports fan, nothing is more intriguing to me then the subplots and drama of a live sporting event. My wife and I love the arts, be it theatre, music, dance…you name it. We also love to travel to new exciting places. Since I was a kid I have always loved video games and have an ever growing collection of games from the NES all the way up to the current systems.
